Normative
Bitkaya shall identify and verify clients, UBOs, directors, authorized representatives and relevant third parties using valid documents and reliable independent sources, verify authority to act, understand ownership and control, and keep collected data current using risk-based measures.
Descriptive
The requirement covers valid identity documents, registry evidence for legal entities, independent verification and identification of any person acting for another.
